1) What size skips can I hire?
- At the moment we have 4, 6 and 10 cubic yard skips available for hire

2) How much rubbish can I put into the skip?
- As a guide we'll use a standard sized black bin liner as an approximate measurement unit :

3) Does a skip need lights on it at night?
- Yes night time lighting is required

4) Does a skip need a permit?
- Yes and we can arrange it for you

5) How long can I hire a skip for?
- We offer short and long term hire, we can tailor durations to individual needs

6) How soon can I have a skip?
- On most occasions we can have a skip to your location within 2 hours

7) Im clearing my garage out, can I put old bikes and hoovers in a skip?
- Most garage items can go into a skip, please see 'What can't I put in a skip?'

8) What can't I put in a skip?
- No asbestos, batteries, tyres, plasterboard/gypsum products, paint, fridges, televisions, computers, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, tumble driers. If you are not sure then please give us a call. Some of the materials can be collected by special arrangement

9) When is it collected?
- When you have finished putting in what you need to be taken away OR when you have filled it to the maximum indicated level

10) Do you recycle?
- We have a recycling policy, concrete based products go for crushing and re-use, green waste goes for mulching, cardboard and paper products are sent for processing, We try to recycle 80% of all waste collected

11) When would I need a grab arm rather than a skip?
- A grab lorry is another option to skips when there are larger quantities or bulky materials such as bushes and trees or heavy materials such as soil, hardcore, They have a 12 cu yd capacity.And it is excellent for reaching materials over walls or fences

12) Wheres a good place to put the skip?
- We try to place the skip where you'd like it, or as near as possible in a safe position, it must be accessible for our vehicles when it is time to collect.

13) Am I liable if somebody crashes into the skip?
- If the skip is placed on your property i.e. on your driveway or in your garden then yes, otherwise no it is covered under our public liability insurance

14) How much does it cost?
- Please take a look at our pricing chart which is updated regularly, (For irregular items or if you have a query please give us a call for a quote)

15) Are there any extra/additional costs?
- Delivery, collection, tipping fees are all inclusive however if there are items found in the skip that have not been disclosed to us prior to delivery then we will charge accordingly
